The German Panzerkampfwagen III (Panzer III) was a medium tank, designed and developed in the 1930s. It primarily served in only the first half of WWII becoming obsolete in 1943. The Panzer III was replaced by the PzKpfw V Panther and then relegated to panzer training schools and ammunition hauling. It served until the end of the war when it experienced a resurgence in use due to necessity. Our example was hand-built from scratch and conforms to authentic Panzer III dimensions.
Ahead of its day, the iconic German WWII Sd.Kfz. 251 helped usher in the present era of Mobile Armored Warfare, or “BlitzKreig.” It was the first APC (Armored Personnel Carrier) to help infantry keep up with armor while advancing. Our reproduction Sd.Kfz. 251 began its life as a post-war copy (Czech OT-810). With extensive modifications, it was converted into a believable Sd.Kfz. 251.
